April and May are important months of testing for our school district.  Grades 7 and 8 will be taking the MAP test on April 24-26, May 1-2  and May 8-9.  Algebra B students will be taking the EOC test April 26-27; Algebra I students will be taking the EOC May 10 and 11.  English II students will be taking the EOC May 8-9 and Government students will be taking their EOC May 10.  All tests are given in the mornings. Friday's baseball jamboree has been moved to US Ballpark (the Old Price Cutter and Mountain Ducks park) in Ozark.  They have remodeled the park and have a full turf field and really nice facilities.  It is Drury's home park, so it will awesome for our kids to play on.   We are leaving at 11.  Our warm-up time is scheduled for 12:30 and then we play at 1:00 and 2:45.  We will play two, four inning scrimmages (against Springfield Central and New Covenant).

We want to thank COKE for their generous donation to help buy new iPads for our elementary classrooms. Tom Wilson notified the school they would like to contribute to our school and asked where was our greatest need. We decided to put any donation towards the purchase of new iPads and charging carts in the elementary school. These are used on a daily basis and for all of our testing. We have been sharing 3 carts which house 30 iPads each. With Coke's generous donation of $10,000 we will be able to purchase almost 30 more iPads. We are so pleased to work together with the Coke family to help our school family!

The Walnut Grove FFA will be holding a fish fry fundraiser at tonight's Fair Play vs. Walnut Grove Softball game. The fundraiser is to benefit FFA members wanting to attend Washington Leadership conference. They will be serving fish and sides. There is no charge for the meal it is by donations only.

The Junior High and Geology class will be going to check out the event, including Hannah’s work tomorrow leaving at 10:10. Students are reminded that they must have their permission slip turned in with signatures on both sides of the form.
