Protect the Farm Scholarship; four $1000 scholarships will be awarded to students from Bolivar, Fair Play, Halfway, Humansville, Marion C. Early and Pleasant Hope. You must be majoring in agriculture or an agriculture-related field to be considered for this scholarship. Application is on website or you can get a hard copy from Mrs. G. NOTE: The scholarship must be mailed to Mr. Kelly Parson, Protect the Farm Scholarship, 4419 Heather Lane, Bolivar, MO 65613 by March 16.
The Missouri Patriot Guard Riders Scholarship is being offered to Missouri students who are sons or daughters of those who fall within the following categories: (1) Those who have given their lives in the line of duty, both military and first responders. (2) Those honorably discharged veterans who have passed after their term of service. (3) Those veterans or first responders disabled in the line of duty. This is a $2500 scholarship; deadline is April 1, 2018. See Mrs. G for more details.
American Legion Lillie Lois Ford Scholarship; two awards of $1,000 each-student must have attended a full session of The American Legion Boys State of Missouri, Cadet Patrol Academy or Girls State program; if you meet qualifications apply online at www.missourilegion.org deadline is April 20, 2018.
