
Annah McGaha, Chloe Bruce, Katie Clark and Caleb Henderson will represent MO next week in Indianapolis at the National FFA Milk Quality and Products Career Development Event Competition during the National FFA Convention. They have spent numerous hours the past several weeks studying, preparing and practicing for this event. Good Luck!





Congratulations to FFA Public Speakers competing at Area 10 FFA Contests Tuesday evening. Jasmine Farrow competed in the Young Farmers/YFW contest, Keelie Henderson competed in the 'Teach Ag' contest, and Riley Tillery placed 2nd in the Mo Cattleman's contest qualifying for District Competition in November. All did a great job in highly competitive events.

Reminders for JH/HS
Parent teacher conferences will be held in the cafeteria today from 2:30pm-7:00pm. No appointments are necessary.
The JH athletic banquet is this Friday, 10/27/23. It will start at 6:00pm and will be held in the cafeteria. We will recognize 6th-8th grade girls/boys basketball and any student 7th-9th that participated in JH track last year. Dinner will be provided.

Mrs. Davis and her JAG students traveled to Jefferson City for the "Build My Future" event.
Students were able to explore and have hands on experience in a variety of construction related careers. One of our students was even interviewed by KRCG 13 news station.

We also held our attendance drawing where students with perfect attendance can win $100 and students with at least 95% attendance can win $50. Congratulations to our $100 winners: Emily Van Black & Seth Hosmann and to our $50 winners: Aidan Pridemore and Dakota Roy.




The Cross Country team will be running today at El dorado Springs. JV/Varsity girls will run at 4:45pm and JV/Varsity boys will run at 5:30pm. Good luck runners! #GoHornets


Here is some info regarding some JH/HS events happening in the coming days.
October 20th - fall athletic photos will take place after school (JH boys/girls basketball, cross country, softball, and senior banner). Order forms will be sent home today and they can also be picked up in the office.

The Lady Hornet softball team will begin their district tournament this evening. The tournament is at Humansville and they will be taking on Macks Creek. Game will start at 5:00pm. #GoHornets

The Fair Play Band took 3rd place at the Pleasant Hope band competition! #HornetPride


The JH girls will begin PCL tournament play at Walnut Grove today. The game will start at 4:30pm and the bus leaves at 3:15pm. #GoHornets

REMINDER - The JH Girls/Boys PCL Basketball Tournament at Walnut Grove will begin tomorrow, 10/7/23. The JH boys will play Wheatland on Saturday at 1:00pm. The bus will leave at 11:45am. The JH girls will play against Wheatland on Monday (10/9/23). That game will begin at 4:30pm. The bus will leave 3:15pm.



Longtime Fair Play staff member Kathy Scott works in the concession stand during a junior high basketball game. Scott and her husband, Steve Scott, along with Joyce Dennis and Laura Neal always keep the fans happy and coming back for more great food at the concession stand. Stop by and say hello tonight at the junior high game.


Our JH basketball teams will be hosting Macks Creek tonight. Games will start at 5:00pm and the order will be: Girls A-team, Girls B-Team, and Boys A-Team.
There is no boys "b" game and 8th grade recognition will take place after the girls "b" game. #GoHornets
