Please join us in welcoming Mr. Buck Shockley as the next Superintendent of the Fair Play R-II School District!

Mr. Shockley comes to us from the Dallas County R-I School District, where he currently serves as Assistant Superintendent. He brings a wealth of experience as a principal, teacher, and coach—along with a positive perspective and great energy that will serve our students, staff, and community well.

Mr. Shockley and his wife, Alana, a school counselor in Bolivar, are proud parents of four children. Their family includes Makenna (17, a high school junior), Tate (8, in 2nd grade), Maylee (6, in kindergarten), and Madden (3, a preschooler).

When asked about his new role, Mr. Shockley shared:

"I am very honored to be joining the Fair Play R-II School District. I can't wait to get started and begin building positive relationships with our staff, students, and community. I look forward to helping continue the tradition of excellence in the Fair Play community."
