
The HS baseball team will be traveling to take on Macks Creek this afternoon (There is a possibility that the game will be rescheduled due to weather). Varsity will start at 5pm and JV will play immediately after. Bus will leave at 3pm. The game will be played on their field where 73 meets 54. See included image.


SENIOR PARENTS - We will be having a brief meeting regarding Senior Trip on Friday, April 5th at 5pm. Please plan to attend if your child is going on Senior Trip.

Just a friendly reminder school is in session on Monday, March 25th. Our Spring Break will also begin next week, March 28-April 1.

Several FFA teams had successful outings today at Aggie Day Contests at Crowder College. The Dairy Foods team placed first and members Lexi Bee, Riley Bruce, Dallas Hardt and Will Frye were all top ten individuals. Lexi Bee was 1st High Individual in the 130 person event. The Entomology team, consisting of Mekenzie Evans, Chloe Bruce, Annah McGaha, and Katie Clark placed third out of 25 teams. The Meats team of Riley Tillery, Bailey Clark, Keelie Henderson and Jasmine Farrow placed 10th in a highly competitive 25 team event. Great job to all competitors!

FFA members were on🔥 today at Area X Leadership Development Events at Halfway. Nick Dooley participated in a competitive Division I Speaking Contest. Riley Bruce placed first in the FFA Creedspeaking contest. Riley Tillery placed second in the Employment Skills contest. Paige Fitch and Miley Sukovaty placed first and second respectively in Beginning Record Book contest. The FFA Knowledge Team of Madison Harris, Paige Fitch, Jillian Moore, Miley Sukovaty and Donald Potter placed second and qualified for District Competition. Awesome job!

Today is opening day for the Hornets baseball team! We will be hosting Walnut Grove for a varsity contest only. Game will start at 5pm. We will be monitoring field conditions throughout the day to ensure the game can still be played. #GoHornets

Athletic practices are good to go for today. Parents please be prepared to pick up your students earlier than normal if practices were to end sooner.

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to the saxophone quartet of Riley Tillery, Michael Case, Keelie Henderson, and Donald Potter for earning an exemplary rating at the district music contest to punch their ticket to the state competition! In addition, Keelie Henderson earned an outstanding rating on her sax solo and Riley Tillery will compete at the state level for his vocal and sax solos. Great job Ms. Pyatt and band/music members!
